At Platypus, we highly value your unique identity and treat you with the utmost respect and dignity to foster your independence.
My Story
A little bit more about me. I'm a military veteran and a proud spouse of another veteran. After my husband retired, we settled in Fortson, GA, near Fort Moore, previously known as Fort Benning. I value education and constantly strive to expand my knowledge. As a committed clinician, I recently completed a second master's degree in rehabilitation and vocational services from Auburn University. My goal is to assist individuals in transitioning from high school to college, vocational training, independent living, and reaching their full potential. However, I'm most grateful for the lessons I learned from my interactions with families and clients that helped me become a better therapist. This journey of self-improvement is one I deeply cherish.
